You have to admit that every engineering millennial out there aspires to be like him. So young and so ambitious, one day, we might find ourselves dependent on anything he has to offer to us. It’s clear that Zuckerberg knows how to run his company so well and he knows how handle his billions.

Now, in case you’re one of those engineers who plan on building your own company, you’d also find yourself interested on what would it take you to be like Mark Zuckerberg. In his interview with Y Combinator, this young billionaire shares his thoughts on what aspiring entrepreneurs must do when starting a business.

Zuckerberg says, “Start with the problem that you’re trying to solve in the world. … The best companies that get built are things that are trying to drive some kind of social change, even if it’s just local in one place. For anyone who’s had the experience of actually building a company, you know that you go through some really hard things along the way, and I think part of what gets you through that is believing in what you’re doing and knowing that what you’re doing is really delivering a lot of value for people. And that’s how the best companies end up getting made.”

He also said he finds people who decide that they want to start a company before deciding what they really want to do have a backward approach on making a valuable business. Aside from that, Zuckerberg encourages young entrepreneurs to choose something they’re passionate about and work on it.

Now, do you know what you’re truly passionate about? If you do, work on that and find a way to make a business out of that. If you still don’t know what you want to work on, maybe it’s time to do some soul searching. Good luck!
