The World’s Smallest Differential Pressure Sensor

Sensirion creates new versions of their differential pressure SDP3x series, which are way smaller than their previous ones. It's the smallest differential pressure sensor

Sensirion, manufacturer of sensors used for the measurement and control of humidity, and of gas and liquid created the world’s smallest differential pressure sensor. They have expanded their differential pressure sensor SDP3x series with additional features like the 12C address selection. This will give a wider variety of application possibilities in the field of medical technology.

These new versions of the SDP3x differential pressure sensor with extended pressure range are scheduled for later this year.

This new SDP3x differential pressure sensor is smaller than the other differential pressure sensors. The measurements are 5mm x 8mm x 5mm. This opens limitless new integration and application possibilities. This sensor can be integrated into devices that lacks sufficient space for any sensor technology.

This sensor also stands out because of its high accuracy, long-term stability, and no zero-point drift. This sensor is a good choice for the measurement of mass flow in medical technology, especially in medical ventilation or inhalers, or in other appliances
