Engineering leads in this aspect. In this industry, many people enjoy lucrative pays and commanding salaries.

And yet there is still a high demand across the world. That’s because there are indeed lots of engineers, but they lack technical skills and qualifications.

In 2015, The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), considered the world’s largest professional organization for engineers, released the results of a survey regarding salaries in the engineering industry. It involved more than 12,000 of its U.S. members to record their job compensation, which includes salary and bonuses. It was found that the median was $130,000.
