Postponed Exhibitions in the Philippines due to COVID-19

Organizers and exhibitions companies in the Philippines have indefinitely cancelled and/or postponed these construction, design, engineering and technology events due to COVID-19 outbreak.

Postponed Event: WORLDBEX

Here’s the official statement from the organizer:

In response to the government declaring a state of public health emergency throughout the entire Philippines; alongside the recommendations of the Department of Health regarding the imposition of Social Distancing Measures in the National Capital Region, which prohibits mass gatherings and events due to concerns related to COVID-19, Worldbex Services International (WSI) announces its decision to postpone WORLDBEX and MIAS 2020.

Worldbex Services International, amidst shows that are set to be held on March 18 to 22, 2020 (25^th WORLDBEX) and April 2 to 5, 2020 (16^th MIAS), has made this difficult decision after close and careful consultation with its partners and the health authorities in charge, in whom it has full trust for their expertise and recommendations for the benefit of exhibitors, collaborators, and visitors. Following the recent prohibition on mass public gatherings, with direct implications for the trade shows, WSI had no other option than to make this decision.

Postponed Event: Philconstruct Luzon

Here’s the official statement from the organizer:

The increasing number of COVID-19 cases, DOH’s health advisories, and the National Government’s announcement of a State of Public Health Emergency leave us with no choice but to postpone the show in the interest of public safety. New dates will be announced once finalized.

We apologize for the inconvenience this may have caused to our guests, trade buyers, and exhibitors who were excited for the upcoming show.
