Google Maps Helps Android Users Find The Best Time of Day To Travel

Google Maps is going to help you find the best time to travel to different destinations. Unfortunately, this new feature is only for Android users!

When you travel (or even just commute) to different places, we always think of the best time to go there without the hassle of traffic. Whenever we get stuck in the middle of traffic, we end up arriving late or just in a foul mood because the car is too slow to move or the places are too crowded.

Now, Google Maps is going to help you find the best time to travel to different destinations. While it normally just gives you the estimated time of arrival and different options of getting to a specific place, Google just added this new feature to guide its users! This feature may only be available for Android users for now and there’s no word if iOS users will be able to experience this new feature.

By going to Maps app, a new bar graph will pop up to show you how long it will take you to get there if you leave now while showing a comparison of how long it would have taken if you left half an hour earlier or in the next few hours. The graph also shows bars that are highlighted in green, red or yellow – depending on the current traffic conditions. Don’t expect the graph to be precise since it wouldn’t show you the exact time that you will save in the feature. But at least you’ll get an idea when’s the best time to travel to the next destination.
