This Earpiece Translator Can Translate Conversations Into Different Languages

This is the world’s first earpiece that translates between users speaking different languages.

It’s like your Google Translator but in your ears. This earpiece translator is your best friend during a vacay in various foreign countries.

Let’s say you’re in a business meeting with an international client, and he/she isn’t fluent in the language you’re used to. Or what if you’re going to meet a friend from a different country and you can’t seem to express yourself the way you want to because you don’t speak the same language? International communication can be very difficult if you’re not familiar with the local language. Other countries even have a lot of dialects within their own country. A certain company is trying to change that.

Waverly Labs aims to change the way people communicate with their in-ear headset, Pilot. Pilot is a wearable device that is worn by two people who don’t speak the same language, and want to be able to communicate with each other. As seen on their YouTube video, the two Pilot earpieces are connected to a smartphone app that allows them to be connected. Each person will insert the earpiece bud into their ear, and the earpiece translates what your companion is saying in your own native language. As a plus, Pilot can also work as earphones for streaming music.

Everyone has experienced language barriers when travelling, this is what inspired the company to create this awesome device. According to their website “Waverly Labs is committed to bridging the gap between language barriers with the world’s first smart earpiece language translator. Science fiction has called it many things, but we call it the Pilot.”

As of now, Pilot does not support many languages. They plan to support European based Romance and Germanic Languages, then Slavic, Semitic, Hindi and East Asian.

The price of Pilot is planned to be priced at $299, but the pricing is subject to change. Once this awesome device is launched, it will be a  great help to many industries, and it can be used for leisure travels as well.
