On June 10, 2017, leading rubber insulation manufacturer Rubber World Industries, a company of the UAE-based conglomerate Shaikhani Group, hosted its fifth annual iftar gathering (a religious observance of Ramadan, when people break their fast together) at the Roda Al Murooj hotel in Dubai.
The event attracted the participation of the company’s leaders, personnel, business partners, and allied stakeholders. Among the present were Rizwan Shaikhani, Chairman and CEO of Rubber World Industry; Muzamil Shaikhani, Managing Director of Rubber World Industry; Mahmood Shaikhani, Managing Director of Shaikhani Group and General Secretary of World Memon Organization and Ahmed Shaikhani, Managing Director of Shaikhani Group of Companies and President of Pakistan Business Council-Dubai and Assistant General Secretary of World Memon Organization-Middle East Chapter.
Representatives from the Pakistan Consulate and the Pakistan Business Council, MEP consultants, engineering contractors , air conditioning distributors, HVAC suppliers in UAE, and regional and international media also joined the event.

In addition to a generous dinner, the night also saw the recognition of Abdul Basit, Guinness World Record Title-Holder (fastest person to type a text message on a moble phone using Swype technology). Rizwan Shaikhani presented him an award and a tribute.
