I am pleased to let you know that GineersNow Dubai, Melbourne and Manila have successfully delivered to our desired recipients PGH, DCMC, MCMI, and V. Luna General Hospital the PPEs and the KN95 masks we had bought with the funds we raised through the “Save Doctors, Save Lives” campaign, protecting medical health workers against COVID-19.
I am also delighted to inform you that our campaign saw an outpouring of support from the USA, UK, Dubai, Poland, Malaysia, Singapore and Manila from private individuals and corporate funders.
Friends, our battle against this pandemic may still be very much ahead of us. Throughout our quest of defeating this virus, our frontliners will remain risking their lives everyday to protect us and and ensure our safety.
Due to COVID-19, many healthcare facilities were not able to treat patients who have medical conditions. Hospitals have to reschedule cancer patients that require surgeries and treatments. Other hospitals went to online therapy (Telehealth) help to accommodate patients who are reluctant to visit the hospitals. By giving PPEs, we are bolstering confidence to our health care system so other non-covid patients can visit the hospital facilities without hesitation.
The “Save Doctors, Save Lives” campaign will continue until our medical professionals need our assistance. We are still open for donations which we will use to constantly replenish their supply of PPEs and KN95 masks.
