Safety is always an important factor when riding any vehicle, this includes bikes. That’s why TPA Sp. z o.o, a European construction company recently installed a unique bicycle path in Olsztyn, Poland. It’s a bicycle pathway which glows in the dark and charges during the day thanks to solar power.

The 100-meter glowing path can be found near Lidzbark Warminski. It glows a bright blue color at night, thanks to the presence of the luminophore particles mixed in the asphalt. These luminophore particles are made of synthetic material which lights up when it is dark and it lasts for as long as 10 hours.
