CBK Hardware Partnered with Lincoln Martin Organization for a Charitable Campaign in Parañaque City
Co Ban Kiat Hardware, the leading distributor of hardware products and construction tools in the Philippines has partnered with Lincoln Martin Organization, a foundation based in Dubai and the Philippines that provide medical, food and economic assistance to the marginalized and distressed communities in Parañaque city, Metro Manila.
The donation drive was headed by Mr. Johnny Cobankiat, the chairman and business tycoon who revolutionized hardware store experience in the Philippines that brought ACE Hardware and CBK Hardware, Mang Johnny’s and Coby’s. The marketing department of CBK Hardware headed by Mr. Marvic Luciene Atendido facilitated the turnover ceremony which was witnessed by several marketing team members at their Binondo office, Manila City. Ms. Emelyn Bagatsing who is the founder of Lincoln Martin Organization in the Philippines received the donated goods.
What are the products donated by CBK Hardware?
“CBK Hardware was generous enough to donate 12 sacks of premium rice and several boxes of canned goods which will be distributed to several barangays in Parañaque City” said Emelyn Bagatsing. She added that “these boxes will be given to the people who have lost their income, jobs or livelihood due to pandemic.”
CBK Hardware also donated several tools and construction materials for the installation of alcohol dispensers which is headed by the office of Councilor Tess de Asis, an elected official in Parañaque City. The office of councilor Tess de Asis has installed more than 200 alcohol stations in various tricycle terminals, jeep, bus, railway and including high foot traffic areas such as wet and dry market (palengke), barangay halls, bahay kalinga, police stations, barangay outposts, malls and grocery supermarkets across the city. The alcohol sanitation station installations were all made possible thru the help of CBK Hardware tools and construction materials. “The people of Parañaque City is very thankful to CBK Hardware for their donation. We are grateful that the management have included the city of Parañaque as one of their recipients” stated by Councilor Tess de Asis.
Who are the beneficiaries?
Lincoln Martin Organization has identified key barangays and areas within the city of Parañaque. The non-profit organization will distribute the donated goods to several food bank centers and pastoral shelters within the city, in coordination with the office of Councilor Tess de Asis.
Among the recipients of the goods are Tricycle and “padyak” drivers, jeepney drivers, person with disability (PWD), single parents, members of 4Ps and those who have not received any social amelioration from the government. Furthermore, several sacks of rice will be given to pastoral sectors and catholic churches who are organizing community pantries within their respective barangays.

About Parañaque City
The City of Parañaque (Lungsod ng Parañaque), is a first class highly urbanized city in the National Capital Region of the Philippines. According to the 2015 census, it has a population of 665,822 people.
