Even after Steve Jobs’ death, Apple has become a multi-billion dollar corporation, but the tech legend’s loyal admirers decry its lack of revolutionary fervor.
During product launches led by Tim Cook, who took Apple’s reins in August 2011, many complain that Apple isn’t innovating as much as it used to.
Since its inception in a garage in 1976, Apple has touched the lives of hundreds of millions of people with products like the iPod, released in 2011, and the iPhone, released in 2007, which placed the internet in people’s pockets.
After a few years, Apple produced an internet-enabled watch, the Apple Watch.
The company has indeed diversified by adding many services carefully integrated into its devices: music, payments, videos, and games.
Apple, on the other hand, has lost the potential to release items that may transform a market.
There have been a lot of incremental improvements to the iPhone, but they haven’t been revolutionary.
Following this reasoning, you can claim that Apple hasn’t done anything new in a long time.
As a matter of fact, the business is lagging well behind its competitors in a number of areas, including hardware.
Samsung and Huawei have previously revealed the first folding phones.
In fact, the new Galaxy Z Fold 3 has been on the market since last year and whispers of a Fold 4 are already circulating the web.
Despite the company’s promise of a foldable iPhone, people are still very anxious about the huge lead of Apple’s rivals.
Apple’s problems run much deeper than its inability to sell its top-of-the-line iPhones, as the reality reveals.
Simply said, the company is no longer creative in any of its product categories.
In smartphones, applications, smart gadgets, and even their retail outlets, Apple isn’t bringing anything fresh to the table.
We’ll have to keep an eye on this firm till they figure anything out.
