The Australian Water Association (AWA) is the peak national body for the water industry in Australia. Formed more than 50 years ago by a small group of water engineers, they aimed to share their experiences and learnings to strengthen the local water industry. Those founding members have witnessed the growth of the organisation, and the members it represents, into one of Australia. The Australian Water Association now represents more than 100 water utilities,  products to the water industry, and 4,000 water professionals working within the industry.
