Hi-cool is the exclusive distributor in the Philippines of Hitachi Water-cooled Large Capacity Screw Type Packaged Air-Conditioning Equipment fully manufactured in Hitachi Shimizu, Japan. Through our design and engineering innovation our roster of clients composed of shopping malls, high-rise buildings, theaters, supermarkets, manufacturing plants and the like have been enjoying significant savings in power consumption some of whom have been bestowed the Don Emilio Abello Energy Efficiency Award by the government. Moreover productivity is also improved as the ideal thermal comfort and indoor air quality are constantly achieved. Commercial buildings especially, have enjoyed a very pleasant advantage of having 50% savings in the area requirement vs conventional systems. These freed up spaces have been converted thereafter to other income-generating purposes.

About Engineer Conrado Acedillo Sr.
Engr. Conrado P. Acedillo Sr. is a pioneer in the HVAC-R industry in the Philippines. He founded the family-owned company, Hi-Cool Engineering Corporation in 1979. Being in the HVAC-R industry for 60 years and with his out-of-the-box thinking, he was able to bring engineering innovation and business solutions to the most challenging sustainability issues, sealing his name in the industry. At 83 years old, he still runs the company with the strength of his yesteryears leading it to the vision he passionately believes in, by setting the standards in cost-effective cooling systems, breaking forth the common norm in the field of engineering and thus helping save the environment.
An advocate of energy efficiency, Engr. Acedillo Sr. is the Chairman and CEO of Hi-Cool Engineering Corporation, President of Intercool Cooling Tower Inc., and a founding member of Philippine Green Building Council and Philippine Society of Ventilating, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration Engineers.
