About Kim H. Sørensen, Group CTO of WABAG

Kim Helleshøj Sørensen has more than 3 decades of experience in the wastewater business.

He is now working as Group Chief Technical Officer at WABAG. In this position he assures that the Group has access to latest relevant technology and see to that the same is available throughout the 20 BU’s.

Before that he was the Chief Process Expert for Municipal Wastewater treatment at the headquarters of Veolia (F).  He has also worked as consultant (COWI, DK), project manager (Krüger DK), (COWI, DK), development engineer (Faxe) and as teacher at The Engineering College of Copenhagen, giving lectures in Waste Water Treatment.

He is a Board member of the IWA Specialist group on Biofilms and a regular member of the Scientific Committee of the IWA WWRMod conferences.

He has published more than 20 twenty scientific and technical articles in International recognised Journals like Water Research, Water Science and technology.

He has 5 Patents on waste water treatment Processes.
