Climate Control

This is what looks like living on the edge – literally.

A house in Granada, Spain made by GilBartolome Architects has been making rounds on the Internet for its ingenuity of design. Called the House on the Cliff, it is exactly what it is: a house buried into the side of the cliff. What’s more amazing with this structure is that it is almost entirely handcrafted and labored from the bottom up.

I’d live in this house kind of contemporary house. Especially that it maintains an interior temperature of 19.5°C [67°F] throughout the year without any additional heating or cooling, all thanks to its 16” of insulation in its concrete roof.
