Manufacturing Technology World Is The Event For Filipino Production Engineers


Things are looking up for the Philippines as foreign investors start rolling in from the US, South Korea, Japan, Britain, Singapore, Netherlands and Taiwan. According to the National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA), a lot of these investors want to invest on the country and place their manufacturing and production plants there. With this good news in mind, local manufacturers have to update their machineries in order to keep up with the growing demands from these investors.

Through Manufacturing Technology World, businessmen and engineers can find the latest manufacturing materials and equipment for their companies. From August 18 to 20, they’ll be able to know what’s the latest on the industrial sector in this expo held at SMX Convention Center Manila at the SM Mall of Asia Complex.

The expo will also include the Manufacturing Engineering Seminar, featured by the Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME), and the Robotics Competition. It also plans to showcase different sectors through its incorporating shows such as the electronics and semiconductors sector and the industrial automation and hardware product sector as well. This event aims not only to update and educate different people in the manufacturing and industrial sectors, but it also aims to connect industry leaders and students too.

According to the COO of Global-Link MP Events International Inc. Jing Lagandaon, representative of the organizers of the show, “This is the 23rd year of the show and we are excited to present a showcase of more than a hundred manufacturers and distributors of industrial equipment and technological innovation. There have been a lot of developments in the country’s manufacturing sector and we are really looking forward to what this growth can bring.”
