Karuna Sadasivam, General Manager, Nynas Middle East talks to GineersNow TV during the Middle East Electricity Exhibition at Dubai World Trade Centre. Karuna outlined their 2018 plans, latest products, innovative solutions to the utility, transmission and distribution sector.
About The Leader
Karuna Sadasivam moved to Dubai more than two decades ago from Coimbatore, Textile city of India, where she had studied physics and received a master’s degree in teaching.
Mrs. Sadasivam came to Nynas in 2004, since when she has worked on the coordination of Nynas’ Supply Chain and on Insulating oil Management, before she was given overall responsibility for the company’s sales of naphthenic speciality oils in the Middle Eastern market. Prior to joining Nynas, she was working for the construction industry with design and engineering firms in Dubai.
“Nynas is special,” says Mrs. Sadasivam. Nynas has strong Swedish roots and empowers employees to take on challenges and prove themselves. Her meteoric rise in the company parallels Nynas’ tremendous inroads into the naphthenic specialty oils market in the region. In the last few years, the office has dramatically increased its sales by offering diversified products with innovative solutions.
