World’s First Wall Painting Robot – MYRO

MYRO can perform painting up to 10 times faster than manual methods with up to 98% precision

MYRO by Eternal Robotics is the world’s first smart interior wall painting robot.

In recent years, robots and AI have opened up new growth opportunities and penetrated every sector. Businesses are now shifting from static in-place automation to dynamic out-there intelligent connected machines. They are looking for solutions that can minimize cost and increase productivity.

In a survey of IT and engineering leaders, 74% of respondents said that automation had helped their workforce work more efficiently. In comparison, 59% of respondents mentioned cost reductions of up to 30% on teams that have embraced process automation.

Considering the survey above, the current trend indicates that the market is heading towards Robotisation and Artificial Intelligence. Automating activities can enable businesses to improve performance by reducing errors, improving quality and productivity, and achieving output where human capabilities have constraints to achieve.

According to the Global Construction Survey, the construction industry in the United Arab Emirates is expected to grow by 6.8% to reach AED 245,982 million in 2022. With the growing infrastructure, the demand for completing construction projects in a short time frame is increasing. It has become vital to bridge the gap between automation and the construction industry to meet the pace.

Eternal Robotics, a pioneering company known for developing innovative technology solutions for emerging industries, has developed MYRO, the world’s first user-friendly interior wall painting robot, to increase productivity, reduce construction timelines and provide consistent quality.

One-of-a-kind, MYRO can perform painting up to 10 times faster than manual methods with up to 98% precision. It is built for 24 hours of operation and is significantly more effective in the long run than rising labor costs. MYRO can deliver more than 1000 sq ft. of painting in 1 hour, which can astronomically help the construction projects in meeting already delayed projects across the world.

MYRO works in three easy steps: creating floor plans, adding details & rules, and automated painting. Highly cost-effective and safe, the smart robot can be controlled through any IOS and Android device and configures non-paintable areas on walls and auto paints for autonomous operations, and is very flexible to draw and edit floor plans. It has a wide range of sensors that allow humans to operate securely and stay distanced from hazardous materials and dangerous tasks.

MYRO has also recently been appointed by Emaar properties to carry out all painting works at Forte, it’s luxury high-rise residential project in Downtown Dubai.
