Now being held at the 75,000 square-foot expanse of the Las Vegas Convention Center, the CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2017 runs from March 7 to March 11. This international trade show for the construction industries features The Tech Experience, which promises attendees to catch a glimpse of the future of the construction and uncover how businesses can become more profitable and more efficient for them.
This year, the event exhibits over 2,500 companies and startups – with 700 of them new – that display a wide range of product categories in the construction. In attendance are contractors, dealers, distributors, service provides, engineers, and producers – basically bringing all construction professionals in one event.
Major construction industries exhibiting in the event include asphalt, aggregates, concrete, earthmoving, lifting, mining, utilities and more.
The Tech Experience focuses on three things: infrastructure, jobsite and workforce.
In the infrastructure aspect, an Infrastructure Vision 2050 Challenge is discussed among exhibitors and attendees. There is also dialogue on modern mobility, infrastructure influences and advanced materials which are critical in the future of the world’s infrastructure.
The future of the jobsite is also looking so bright with The Tech Experience bringing up topics on autonomous vehicles, equipment intelligence and site visualization. The construction work is promised to be never be the same again.
Workforce in the construction is seen to be empowered with career mapping, simulator training, and smart wearables. All of these will be talked about at the world’s biggest construction trade show.
Moreover, there will be tech talk sessions, a drone aviary, and a 3D printworks where in the world’s first 3D printed excavator will be exhibited.
