Get your geek on Star Wars fans, as Disney is planning to build the Hotel of your dreams–a Star Wars themed hotel! Chairman of the Walt Disney Parks & Resorts Bob Chapek confirmed that Disney is currently constructing an immersive hotel. This Star Wars hotel will be debuted as part of the company’s Disney 360 resort concept. The concept is to have the guests immerse in the themed surrounding as if they are part of the story.

“It’s unlike anything that exists today,” Chapek said. “From the second you arrive, you will become a part of a Star Wars story! You’ll immediately become a citizen of the galaxy and experience all that entails, including dressing up in the proper attire. Once you leave Earth, you will discover a starship alive with characters, stories, and adventures that unfold all around you. It is 100% immersive, and the story will touch every single minute of your day, and it will culminate in a unique journey for every person who visits.”

Imagine being inside the Star Wars world. Instead of seeing ordinary surroundings like parking lots and pools outside your hotel window, you’ll be seeing stars from different galaxies! All this was conceptualized and has been developed by Disney Imagineers.
The hotel is planned to be built at the Walt Disney World Parks and Resorts in Orlando, Florida. Disney plans to open this around the time wherein the rest of the Star Wars land will debut in 2020.
