The New 800i Jaw Crusher was launched in late 2016 and has been designed specifically for the quarry and contractor market. It features a large flywheel to generate high inertia, optimized extra-long ‘nip angle’ jaws ideally suited for hard rock applications, and a 1200mm wide discharge belt that streamlines material flow, reduces wear, and prevents blockages. One of the new models is at work with McCabe Earthworks throughout Ireland & the UK, and they have been very impressed. John McCabe said:
“In addition to improving overall capacity, the new 800i produces a low cost per ton and creates a high-quality product. In our current application, the 800i crushes primary rock, which is then fed into the Tesab 1412T Impact Crusher—the result is an extremely high-quality aggregate.”
An alternative to the Heavy-Duty 800i, Tesab also recently launched its New 700i Jaw Crusher at Hillhead 2016. Based on the fundamentals of the proven 10570, the 700i is a lighter, more streamlined, and more powerful machine that can produce up to 400 TPH!
Designed to be more user-friendly, the 700i is now easier to maneuver onsite and can be easily transported around various world markets due to its new weight and dimensions. While still keeping the original Jaw Crushing unit, it ensures it maintains the robustness needed for a Jaw Crusher designed with Contractor use in mind.
With its innovative new design, the 700i is quicker and easier to set up than ever, dramatically reducing downtime between jobs as it can be ready to go in minutes. It also features hydraulic locking extension cribs, eliminating the need for lifting gear and improving overall health and safety by eliminating risks during setup.
With a 2 deck independent pre-screen as standard on the Jaw Crushing range, production costs are reduced as a sized product can be produced on the side belt. In contrast, the new and improved step deck vibrating feeders allow a higher throughput tonnage, improved material separation quality, and the ability to handle dry, damp or wet material – ensuring a highly versatile Jaw Crusher!
