“What kind of engineer would you want the world to remember you by?” That’s a question I’ve been asking myself for some time.
I don’t want to wake up every morning, drive to a job that I dread, smile at everyone just to get through another routine job at work, pretending that I’m perfectly happy with my normal, average, yet stressful life.

I don’t want to be the person who pretends I’m happy when I’m actually sad, and I don’t want to post my problems on social media just to get it all out or get sympathy from the whole world.
I don’t want to follow the rules blindly, or do exactly what my bosses say and not put any input of my own. I don’t want to be a puppet of the world and just be that person who perfectly mixes in the crowd of grey followers.
I want to leave my own legacy behind.

I want to be free to be my own unique kind of self. I chose to be an engineer because it lets me be free to materialize my ideas. I want to twist and bend the rules to the limits to see how far my ideas can go. I want to be different that everybody else for if everyone was the same, how can we bring out new ideas?
One good thing about people who dare to be different, is that we dream, we think out of the box, and we want to make a difference.

I want to be an engineer who encourages change and fresh ideas. I want to be remembered as the engineer who is reckless and yet never gives up. I want to be remembered as the engineer who inspires others to dare to be different!
