Two Simple Reasons Why Engineers Make The Best Lovers
Have you ever dated an engineer before? Are you seeing one right now? Have you swiped right to an engineer on Tinder? Are you getting married to one? Or are you already experiencing marriage bliss with an engineer? Whatever your situation is right now, we all know engineers are one-of-a-kind when it comes to the romance department.
I’m an engineer myself and I have dated some in the same field over the years. Without bias, I can say that I prefer to have their company over anyone else. I’ve dated a banker, an artist, a nurse and a pilot but things didn’t really work out with them. The same goes for my friends. Since most of my closest friends are engineers too, I’ve noticed one thing about their love lives: they prefer to date engineers as well. So, what is it with engineers that make them interesting and exciting?
I’ve given this a lot of thought and somehow, there are two things I’ve observed about engineers. For sure, you’d agree to this if you’re with an engineer right now.
Reason Number 1: They will try their best to figure you out.

Engineers spent years trying to develop a critical mind to solve problems and analyze situations. While problems that arise at work can be complicated, human emotions can be more complicated. We all know that when it comes to the affairs of the heart, we are clueless most of the time on how to deal with them appropriately. Engineers love the challenge and they just want to figure things out.
From knowing what’s wrong to be able to decipher the real meaning behind what they read between the lines, engineers want to understand how you, as a partner, “function”. While the others simply let go of a simple “You just don’t understand so don’t bother.”, engineers would find a way to know what’s wrong. They will ask questions to help themselves know how they can improve in the relationship.
If they really love you, they will truly find a way to know you in a deeper level.
Reason Number 2: They just don’t give up.

For most engineers, they worked really hard just to get to where they are right now. That includes an excruciating amount of time spent in engineering school For some, they made it alive after four or five years while the others took more time than that (like nine to ten). They never gave up on their dream of becoming engineers even if it meant being constantly disappointed with their professors and major exams, almost losing their way in college and eventually finding the courage to finish the degree program. Trust me, it’s difficult.
So, yes. Engineers know how important it is to never give up on something they value the most. If you matter to them, they will never give up on you. They will do whatever it takes to win your heart and keep you in their lives.
