Well, we can’t blame you, these small yellow papers serve as reminders for tasks for a certain day. Thankfully, researcher Tobias Große-Puppendahl has created these gorgeous electronic sticky notes that won’t clutter your work area, and replace all your paper notes—an e-paper sticky note.

These electronic sticky notes are easy to use just like a traditional sticky note, and they never need to be charged! The back side of the electronic sticky note has a solar cell that gets all its energy from indoor lighting. It also has a Bluetooth low-energy chip inside so they can be updated from a smartphone or a PC.

It utilized low-res e-ink displays for the devices screen and the device can only display some blocky characters and a few letters, but that’s the beauty of the device. They’re simple single-use screens you can put on your cubicle—as long as there’s light.
