Engineering Life Struggles
Can you relate to these university life struggles?
- University students struggles in writing essays
- College students battling writing research papers deadlines
- Academic failure in mathematical formulas
- College tuition loan difficulties…
- If you get that university loan opportunity, payment delays kicks-in
- Students’ love life fails
- Then came the coronavirus in your campus.
We all know how difficult and unforgiving engineering is, and sometimes many of us just want to raise the white flag and give up. You might be thinking, it’s logical isn’t it? If you keep failing at what you do, maybe it isn’t really meant to be for you, plain and simple! Well I’m here to tell you, DON’T GIVE UP just yet.

Before you finally call it quits and give up, here are some questions you need to ask yourself.
Did you do absolutely everything you can?

Sometimes, we choose to give up without even trying to do our best. If there’s something very bitter about giving up, it’s the bitterness of regret. If you haven’t done your best, then I urge you to do so before giving up engineering. Study harder, prioritize what’s important, and try to find out where you went wrong. If in the end, you still fail and want to quit, at least you can hold your head high without regrets and say you tried your best.
Why did you choose engineering?

Why did you? Is it because you love designing things? Do you enjoy tinkering with electronics or designing cars and airplanes? Before giving up, try to remember why, if the answer to that question warms your heart with love for engineering, then maybe it isn’t time to give up yet.
Is this what you really want?

This question is related to the previous questions. For what reason are you going to leave? Is it because of all your failing grades? Is it because you bombed that company presentation? Think long and hard, you’ve come this far. Is it really worth it to give up? Maybe give it one more shot before ending it.
After you’ve answered all of this and decide to give engineering another chance, then awesome! If you still choose to quit, at least you’ll feel better knowing that you really thought everything through. This way you’ll be able to face your new path in life without regret.
