Wellness Glass Walls
The Sliding Door Company, a Los Angeles, CA based firm with 27 showrooms in North America and recently established presence in the Philippines to serve Asia, is now offering a new solution to help combat the spread of COVID-19 in hospitals, medical centers, dental clinics and commercial buildings including call centers, coworking spaces and other public establishments with its new Wellness Glass Walls. They have designed specialty glass pods and dividers for separation in areas where there will be numerous people congregating.
The new Wellness Glass Walls prevent cross-contamination, block airborne particles and are deployable in under 24 hours allowing hospitals, urgent care centers, and medical offices to partition off waiting rooms and provide sequestered glass waiting areas for patients. The modular system offers total flexibility in design, does not require any permitting and protects both patients and staff from cross-contamination.
Each Wellness Glass Wall system is made of tightly-placed glass panels impermeable to disease transmission, are easy to clean and disinfect between patients or employees/clients, offer touch-free sliding doors to prevent contamination, and are available in a variety of glass opacities for privacy.
An extended wait in any public area increases likelihood of disease transmission by 90%, and with the addition of Wellness Glass Walls, the general public’s anxiety is immediately reduced. The Wellness Glass Walls can also be utilized in airport terminals, business office lobbies, banking institutions, restaurants and more.
